After screenings from the city's leading psychonauts, the Friday Night Psych party will turn to an audio-visual performance from Nathan Felix (Noise Revival Orchestra), premiering an excerpt from his 2nd symphony Neon Heaven, for choral ensemble and piano with visuals from Bob Mustachio (LEVITATION music festival’s visual director, projectionist for The Black Angels). Following will be a great showing of the festival's psychedelic rock bands. Beginning with the lo-fi soul sound of Three Bones, the night will shake with swampy grit. Milezo keep it fuzzy and psychedelic with some shoegaze to boot. The night ends off with arguably Austin's strongest purveyors of psychedlia here and abroad, Christian Bland of the Black Angels, performing his solo project with bandmates Christian Bland & The Revelators.
