Deerhunter "Revival" Directed by: Justice Gutierrez
Bachelor's design thesis at St. Edward's University, Feb. 2015.

Aiming to engage the medium of stop motion animation by unconventional means, I looked to my favorite filmmakers and their work for inspiration. I was particularly drawn to surrealist filmmaking, and became curious of the process involved. In order to investigate this operation, I focused on melting and vibration: two highly physical and practical processes that I felt could be manipulated via stop motion. This music video for Deerhunter's "Revival" documents my extended experimentation with the physical capabilities of stop motion animation, in about 20,000 images.

The Boxing Lesson "Better Daze" Directed by: Eric Power
On a spooky night, creatures from a dark meteor descend on an unsuspecting city.
The process for this video involved combining live action shots with cut paper animated creatures! Fun times.

Octopus Project "Anijam" Directed by: Ryan Padgett, Travis Benn
14 teams of Austin based studios and animators participated in a 48 hour animation challenge in the spirit of an Exquisite Corpse presented by the Austin Motion Artists Group, Moontower VFX, Houndstooth Studio, and The Octopus Project.

Jeremy Messermith "Tatooine" Directed by: Eric Power

Star Wars given the Paper Treatment! Animated music video for Jeremy Messersmith's lo-fi song Tatooine.

Bill Carter "Anything Made of Paper" Directed by: Pat Kondelis, Brandon Ray

Bill Carter's "Anything Made of Paper" was written as a present for Damien Echols of the West Memphis Three when he was on death row. Bill and his wife Ruth set out to write a song about love and tragedy. The animated music video is a fictional re-telling of the story that inspired Bill to write the song in the first place, and echoes the hope we all must cling to in the face of injustice.

LeetStreet Boys "Imaginary Boys" Directed by: Matthew Myers

LeetStreet Boys is an anime otaku band with a series of animated music videos. In this piece there is the theme of glamorous, larger than life fictional characters contrasting with ordinary teenagers.

Fresh Fuckerman "0x0" Directed by: Stephen Fishman
An animated spray of vomit depicting my creative process. Stand at a safe distance and squint your eyes.

The Please Please Me "Fuck This" Directed by: Dannie Snyder

Puppet video to the single Fuck This off of the Please Please Me's forthcoming album. The video is a sequel to their eye-turning Kickstarter video featuring a pink furry creature which recently got accepted into FilmQuest.

I make things move through the magic of animation! It's kind of like being some sort of greek god. I also dabble in raising kids.

I am worth talking to because I'll be real with you. I don't do the "traditional" networking bull shit - I want to know real artists who do some real shit. I'm always looking to find or create opportunities to save "dying" art forms or invent some new ones.
